What happens?

How do the wishes work?

The Enemy has the ability to grant wishes, but it can make a wish of its own come true as payment for each wish it grants. The Enemy exploits this ability by choosing which wishes to grant and which to ignore – and by choosing its own wishes to make its Vessel’s life even worse.

So, wishes have consequences

• A positive unexpected benefit 

a wish that comes with a lucky added bonus.

• A negative unexpected problem 

a wish that solves one problem, but creates a new one.

• A perverse result 

a wish that makes an existing problem worse.
