Adjectives vs adverbs
  • Adjectives (zelfstandig naamwoord) say something about a noun
  • Adverbs (bijwoord + ly) say something about nouns, verbs and other adverbs

Choose between the adjective and the adverb in each of the following sentences.
A This artwork has a tragic / tragically sad story behind it.
