onderwerp + vorm van to be  + [ww+ing]

LET OP! Soms verandert de spelling van het ww bij +ing

1. bij werkwoorden die op - e eindigen, valt die - e weg bij + ing: bake -> baking        have -> having;      give -> giving

2.  bij werkwoorden van 1  lettergreep met een korte klinker 
      (a, e, i, o, u), verdubbelt de medeklinker op het einde om de

      korte klank te behouden:

             run -> running       stop -> stopping       chat -> chatting

              sit -> sitting            put -> putting
