What does a conjunction do?

Conjunctions

A conjunction glues two pieces of sentences together. English has many words that can do this, and they all show a different relationship between the sentences. The relation could be: an enumeration, a reason or cause, a consequence, a contradiction, a condition, a time.

Therefore, you have to know these relations and what the words signify.
