Grammar: the future
Choose between: continuous, perfect or perfect continuous
We use the:
- future ......... for an action that will be in progress in the future or an action that is planned for the future.
- future ......... for an action that will be complete at a future time.
- future .......... to say how long an action has been in progress at a future time.
In August, I'll be going to Spain to do some volunteering.
In five years, I'll be working.
By my late twenties, I'll have moved out of mu parent's house.
By next month, I'll have been learning Spanish for a year.
