We have two types of bones in our bodies: flat bones and pipe bones.

Flat bones are flat in shape. 
Examples: skull, ribs, sternum and hip bone.

Pipe bones are round in shape. 
Examples:
humerus, femur, radius, ulna, tibia
and fibula.
