What do you already know?

You'll get an envelope with different coloured strips and photo's. The pink strips have materials on them and the blue strips contain the work order of the experiment. It is up to you to figure out which materials are needed and which aren't. The same goes for the blue strips; which steps do you need to perform and which can be left out?

Work with a classmate to discuss the options. 

Read the protocol

Read the protocol and look at the choices you made regarding the coloured stips, do you need to adjust them?

While reading, filter out difficult or unfamiliar words, terminology or materials as you will play a Blooket game with these words in a little bit. The blooket will also mention the work order for the exeriment.

You'll be speaking in pairs about a subject that you both like for 5 minutes. During this time you should take turns asking each other questions about the subject. To prepare for this conversation you'll get 5 minutes to write some questions, words or information down.  

You'll also get example questions on the next slide to use if you're stuck.

As always, when speaking it's about understanding the other and getting your message across. For this exercise you do not need to worry about speaking perfect English. 

Write down what you did really well this lesson and what you could do better next time. (Answers won't be shown in class).
