Justify the title 'The Lost child'

 Why does the child lose interest in the things he wanted earlier?

 Compare the reactions of the mother and the father on the child’s request for a toy.

 How does the child in the story lose himself? How far is he responsible for his predicament?

 Do you consider the child’s behaviour as depicted in the the story as normal? Justify.
