What is it? 

-  Balance organ disorder

- Attack can last 20 minutes

-  Dizzy for a few days after attack 

- Attack varies from person to person 

How long does an attack last?

1. 10 minutes
2. 1 hour
3. 20 minutes / 12 hours
4. 1 hour / 2 hours

The cause 

- Cochlea and vestibular system

- Fluid in vestibular

- Endolymph

- No cause

Who gets it? 

- Ménière's disease affects about 200 out of 100,000 

- Young people and the elderly can also get the disease. 

- Stress is seen as a major cause for the occurrence of new attacks. 

Who is more at risk of getting Meniere?

1. It doesn't matter
2. Woman
3. Men

Symptoms

- You can get dizzy and nauseous

- You can hear less well 

-  You are also suffer from ringing in the ears 

What is NOT a symptom of Meniere?

1. Feeling dizzy and nauseous
2. Hear less
3. Having to vomit
4. See black spots

Treatments

- No medication 

- Hearing aid 

- Metoclopramide or domperidon.
