Either watch the BBC or CNN or any other major English speaking news broadcaster. 

On your exam you will be in pairs and discuss a news item chosen by your teacher on a major subject that has been in the news from now until the end of May. Any extra information that will be added by yourself will of course result in a higher grade :-).
