Instructions

What: the teacher starts a story in the past tense. Each student adds something to that story in the past tense.

How:class (everyone is silent while 1 person is talking). You have to listen to each other to make this work.

How long: until everyone is finished

Why: to check if you have understood the past simple, as well as to encourage creativity and storytelling skills.
