Creating: Students will design and produce a flyer that effectively convey their party's messages and engage the target audience.

Consider layout, use of colour, imaging, messaging. Fully explain your answer.

Instructions: Create a flyer for a political party. Choose one of the candidates in the provided PowerPoint and then choose which party that they are going to stand for - the rosettes are also in the PowerPoint.
Design the Flyer:
Title: Create a catchy headline that captures attention.
Images: Include one or more high-quality images of the candidate. Ensure the images are appropriate and related to the message.
Body Text: Write a persuasive text that includes:
  • An introduction to the candidate.
  • Key policies or achievements.
  • A call to action (e.g., vote for the candidate, attend a rally, visit their website).
  • Contact Information: Provide details on how to learn more about the candidate (e.g., website, social media handles).
Visual Appeal: Use colors, fonts, and layout effectively to make the flyer visually appealing. Ensure it is easy to read and not cluttered.
Review and Revise:
  • Proofread your flyer for any spelling or grammatical errors.
  • Ensure the information is accurate and the design is polished.

PEER Assessment - Improving the flyer. Look at your partners work:
1) Is the layout of the flyer appropriate - title included and in a suitable place, suitable images & background, font style suitable, can text be read easily?
2) Is the messaging correct on the flyer? Does it sell the parties main policies?
