Plan On
- You are going to write your own review of an activity you like.
- Read the task and underline the things you need to do in the task. (Don't underline in your text book!) make a note of the things you need to do!
- How many words should you write?

- Who is the target reader?
- What is the purpose of the review?
- What is an appropriate style for the reiview?
- What kind of layout do you need to use?
- What kind of information?
- What about the conclusion?

Did you enjoy it ? Why/Why not?

Which adjectives did the writer use in the review?
Are they positive or negative?

Explore vocabulary
A good way to extend your vocabulary is to use compound adjectives.

- example: middle-aged (adj + verb)
- 18 year (number + noun)
- brightly lit (adverb+verb
- well-known (adverb+adjective)

Remember, that you have to give your own opinion at the end of a review and a recommendation so that readers can make up their own mind.

- Think of an interesting title.
- In the first paragraph, say what you are reviewing.
- In the next two paragraphs, give your opinion of the activity. You may include negative points. Use descriptive language.
- In the final paragraph, summarise your opinion and give a recommendation
