COULD is de verleden tijd van CAN, maar het betekent ook ZOUDEN KUNNEN

Should

SHOULD = advies geven aan jezelf of een ander

iets dat je zou moeten doen

iets dat je niet had moeten doen

Have to

You have to wear a seatbelt.

She has to go to school.

HAVE TO = iets moet echt (van de wet bijvoorbeeld)

Vaak verteld door iemand die iets over je te zeggen heeft (ouders/docent/politie/baas)

Don't have to

You don't have to wear a tie. This is not a formal party.

Dit betekent dat je het mag maar dat je het niet per see hoeft.
