Example:

Last week I went to New York with my whole class for five days. We had a direct flight from Amsterdam to New York, we sat for eight and a half hours on the plane, I watched a few movies and tried to get some sleep. The best part of the trip for me was the Central Park Zoo, I know it sounds a bit lame, but I enjoy going to different zoos in different countries and this is where the zoo “Penguins of Madagascar” is based. I also really enjoyed shopping and exploring Times Square!
