2nd - 13th June	Work on book poster + study irregular verbs
16th June	Deadline for handing in your book poster!
17th June - 24th June	Testweek: reading test + irregular verbs

Reading a book

We are going to read a book for English.

Every title on the Book suggestions OB list or the Bookflix OB ATC  PowerPoint is fine. Both of these documents can be found in the "jaarbijlage" in Som.

If you would like to read something else, please ask me for permission first! Make sure to choose a book that fits your level of command in English! So not too difficult, but also not too easy.

Deadline for handing in your book title: Thursday the 21st of April.  

Knowledge organizer & poster

While reading your book, you will fill out a knowledge organizer to prepare for the poster you are going to make when you have finished reading the book.

Deadline for reading the book & filling out your knowledge organizer:

In the week(s) of 2nd - 13th of June you will make a poster about your book at school!

Have you ever read an English book? If so, which one?

Books & writers

Read the list with book suggestions for year 1 and/or check the BookFlix.

You can find both documents in the "jaarbijlagen" in SomToday.

Helpful tips for searching information

Does the writer have his/her own website? Start searching there. If not, you can often find information on the site of the publisher (uitgeverij) or the English Wikipedia site.

If you don’t know which writer to choose, choose one of the four links on the next slide.
