Goals

- At the end of this lesson you solved a muder by listening carefully.

At the end of this lesson you practised clauses of time.

- At the end of the lesson, you have improved your speaking in general

Where were you when?

- The group will be divided into 2 groups.

- Everyone gets a slip of paper. On the paper is your alibi. 

- Write down your name behind A,B,C,D etc.

- I ask both groups at the same time: person A,B,C etc. where were you when Mr. Smith was murdered?

- You read aloud your alibi. The rest of the groups writes it down.

- At the end you have time to look through your invesitgation report en decide who is the murderer.

Person D is the murderer. D's alibi is inconsistent with G's and J's statements about the paper delivery. 

True confessions

True confessions

- What: You are going to play the game true confessions.

How: - Create groups of three, everybody creates 1 truth and 1 lie and writes it down on a slip of paper. 

-Next up: two of the group of three choose a piece of paper of 1 of the group members. 

- The chosen person reads the paper out loud and the other two have to guess by asking questions if its true or not.

True confessions

Help: The teacher or the other group members 

Time: 90 seconds per person

outcome: You know if the chosen person was speaking the truth or if he was lying
