1. ww+ed/onregelmatig ww
2. onregelmatig werkwoord
3. had + voltooid dw.
4. have/has + voltooid dw.

The past simple

Use: 1. events that happend in the past

Signaalwoorden: yesterday, last year, October 2019

werkwoord + ed/onregelmatige vorm

I completed my testweek.

The present perfect

Use: 1. events that started and are still going on.

2. experiences

Signaalwoorden: never, just, for, since, yet, recently, already, forever

have/has + voltooid deelwoord

We have recently won the lottery.

I have lived in the Netherlands all my life.
