one tree - four trees

Nouns ending with an s sound or an o: +es

one boss - two bosses

one tomato - five tomatoes

Plural nouns

Words ending with an y: +ies

one baby - two babies

one bunny - five bunnies

! Remove the Y and add IES

Exceptions to the rules
