Inform, instruct, persuade, entertain

Reading strategies:

• Scanning:  specific information/details
• Skimming:  topic and main points, getting the author's point of view
• Intensive Reading: complete understanding of the text as a whole

Reading exercise

• Read the text: Winter festivals
• Do the vocabulary exercises!
• Use the context and if neccesary use the wordlist
