- Create your thesis statement before you start writing

- Make sure you make a plan before writing: what goes where

- Make sure you write at least 225 words, best is 250 words

- Use control+F to check if you used "illegal" words (I, you, etc.)

- Check your work for illegal things: can't, don't. Because/But/And at the start.

- Does each paragraph relate back to your thesis statement?

- Does your conclusion match your introduction?
