Grammar 7b Future Continuous + vocabulary use

In this lesson we'll...

• finish survey and discuss listening (practice) test.
• understand and use the future continuous.
• do a word game.

Future continuous

When?

Events  that will be happening for a longer time in the future.

We will be living in Amsterdam in a few years time.

Events that will be happening at a specific time in the future.

I will be watching the movie at 5 o' clock.

How?

will + be + verb with -ing ending

The technicians will be developing new features for the device.

What subjects will you be choosing next year?

I certainly won't  (will not) be taking literary arts.

With I/we only, shall can also be used.

1. The class splits into team A and B.

2. Team A writes a question , B answers. Sentences must use the words given AND be in the future perfect or future continuous.

3. Now A and B will take turns to make predictions using the vocabulary box AND the future perfect or future continuous.

4. You get points if your sentences and word use are correct!
