I will provide you with feedback on the powerpoint. You can make changes to your powerpoint until 22 May (if you use a link, this shouldn't be a problem). This is the version I'll use to evaluate your work.
25 May - 12 June: book presentations
12 June: deadline project Native Americans (more information next week)

discuss the development of one character
research and present the context of the novel (e.g. setting, when was it written, where)
why would you (not) recommend your book. Give plenty of reasons!
be prepared to answer questions about the book / your presentation

setting: where, when (type of village, house? political situation? history?)
characters: main characters, protagonist, antagonist, round/flat, dynamic/static
plot: story structure (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution)
conflict: what type of conflict (explain), e.g. human/human, generation conflict, human/nature, human/self
point of view: type narrator - (limited) omniscient, 3rd person, 1st person
theme: the message - e.g. "revenge is no use", "love conquers all"
You don't have to use all the literary terms - use the terms that you need for your presentation!
