Hoe maak je een bijwoord?

Zegt iets over de manier waarop iets gebeurt --> Hij loopt langzaam

Hoe maak je het?: zet –ly achter het bijvoeglijk naamwoord: He is walking slowly

Je kan het voor verschillende dingen gebruiken:

1. hoe iets gebeurd: He walked quickly

2. wanneer iets gebeurd: They arrive weekly

3. om te benadrukken: We should drive extremly carefully

uitzonderingen

Sommige spelling veranderd: 

- woorden die eindigen op -y = easy - easily 

- woorden die eindigen op -le = horrible - horribly

- woorden die eindigen op -tic = automatic - automatically
