Goal: I know how to change the meaning of a word with the use of prefixes and suffixes

Prefixes and suffixes are

a short addition at the beginning or the end of the root of a word, that changes its meaning.
Prefixes and suffixes together make affixes!

Give the word an opposite meaning

welcome   --> unwelcome
patient       --> impatient
logical       --> illogical
complete   --> incomplete
appropriate ---> inappropriate
