1. Zoek op: een bron waarop je je essay kunt baseren. Kies één van de twee onderwerpen onderaan de opdracht.
2. Gebruik je student book: blz. 68 voor de Writing Focus van een argumentative essay. 
3. Gebruik de Language Focus voor linkers. 
4. Gebruik reported speech voor het verwijzen naar uitspraken in je bron.
