Conditionals

Conditionals zijn voorwaardelijke zinnen: als ..... , dan ......

Een conditional sentence bestaat uit twee delen, een hoofdzin en een zinsdeel met if.

Er zijn vier soorten conditionals: zero, first, second, third.

First conditional

If + present simple, will (might, may) + hele werkwoord

The FIRST conditional

• We use the FIRST conditional  to talk about future events that might take place
• It will not always be true 
• The if clause gives a condition for the main clause. 
• If clause = voorwaarde, hoofdzin is het gevolg. Als.... dan
• If you work hard, you will become rich.
