What will we do today

Task 1 :  Ask each other questions from the board.  Write down the answers, your neighbour will need them! (5 mins)

Task 2: Write your song, use your answers as inspiration (7 mins)

Task 3:  Share: We will share our songs!  (7 mins)

Task 4:  Language focus.  (7 mins)

 

TASK  1 

• In pairs (tweetallen)
• Exchange your workbooks (ruil je werkboekje)
• 2 minutes per person (2 minuten per persoon!)
• Ask as many questions as possible from the board and WRITE DOWN THE ANSWERS 
• After 2 minutes. Switch! (ruilen na 2 minuten)
• Volume?? Quietly!   (zachtjes praten)

I see plates with my favourite food, nice drinks with it too- I see friends  around a table - Together with me and you

 And I think to myself - What a wonderful world

 I see cooks in the kitchen,  throwing pizzas in the air.  - whilst I sit there on my chair.

 And I think to myself  - What a wonderful world  

I see friends … eating their pizzas - Saying …. these pizzas taste great- 

They're really saying….I love being here! 

  I hear italian songs, I don’t understand it. - But that doesn’t matter one bit…….  

 And I think to myself - What a wonderful world - Yes, I think to myself- What a wonderful world

Taak 2: Groups of 2 (7 mins)

• Use the list of answers and write  (on page 3) your poem. It does NOT have to rhyme but if you want to you can look for rhymewords! Use   https://www.rhymezone.com/

-Together, discuss what you found difficult or easy about writing  this song. What did you discover? 

-Together, decide WHICH ONE you will share. This can be the funniest, the most original, the most beautiful. Get ready to share WHY you have chosen this one.  Also, choose WHO will share it

Analysis: find words which are plurals in both songs and in your own poems.
