Beginning:

You are writing to your grandma for her birthday

You are a manager and you are writing an update letter to your team

You are writing to your boss about a problem at work

You lost your sunglasses at a museum and have to send an e-mail 

Writing exercise 

Write a personal letter to your friend that lives abroad

Use at least 200 words 

Your letter must include:

- The food

- The weather

- A national holiday

- What you would show them if they would visit 

- What you like and dislike most about living in the Netherlands 

Time plan

10 minutes for a first draft and short evaluation with a classmate

10 minutes for a definite draft
