Adverbs versus Adjectives
An adjective modifies a noun

She is loud / There was a loud noice.
Is this story real?/ This is his real name.

Toepassing adverb <-> adjective
1. The girl sings beautifully  (verb)                        That's a beautiful girl. (noun)

2. It is absolutely beautiful (adjective)                I want the absolute truth. (noun)

3. She sings really beautifully (adverb)               It's a real beauty. (noun) 

4. Fortunately, all the children were saved!       What a fortunate outcome!

Subject + Verb + Object
John and I go to the same school.
On Mondays, John and I have soccer practice.
Even when it rains, John and I go to soccer practice.

Sally has many siblings.
With four brothers and three sisters, Sally never feels alone.
Although both parents have fulltime jobs, Sally gets a lot of support from them

The little girl was found in a park yesterday evening.
Thomas is at his soccer club now.
The children are at school from Mondays to Fridays.

Adverbs of frequency
Sally always helps her little brother.
Sally is always very sweet to her little brother.
John and Thomas are often working together on projects.
John and Thomas often go to school together.
Daisy is never late with handing in an assignment.
Daisy never hands in an assignment late.
Daisy has never been late with handing in an assignment.


To be  > after the verb
any other verb > before the main verb
