Make sure you go on with the story where your classmate stopped writing - it should make (some sort of) sense!
Use vivid vocabulary and pay attention to spelling and grammar.

Introduce the protagonist of the story.
Come up with important details like name/age/gender/etc.
Make it as interesting as you can without saying something about what or where.
You can use the word in 'how' as inspiration.

When you hear the signal you may start writing: what happened to the protagonist of the story? Include details without mentioning where. You can use the word in 'how' as inspiration.
