level: 2 mavo (first year of physics)
- second paragraph of the chapter
The first paragraph was about what forces are and which properties they have.

Slide 2 - Tekstslide
previously in physics class..
A force is a physical property which can alter up to
three effects.
It can change the shape of an object.
It can change the speed of an object.
It can change the direction of the speed of an object.

Slide 3 - Tekstslide
Today
After today you will be able:
-recognise and name different types of forces.
-to classify forces into the two different categories of forces.
Slide 4 - Tekstslide
types of forces
There are many types of forces. The type of force has the name of how the force came to be. We also add the initial of the type to the symbol in subscript.
Example: Spring force, it's a force exerted by a spring.

A couple common ones are:
-gravitational force
-friction force
-applied force

Slide 7 - Sleepvraag
two categories of forces
There are two categories of forces.
Forces that work on contact and forces
that can work over a distance. contact forcesand non-contact forces
example:
Adhesive force only works on contact.
Magnetic force on the other hand can work over a distance.
