Introduction to the English course

Term 1:  Project about your profession

                 Grade term 1: project needs to be sufficient

                 

Term 2-4: Skills portfolio based on your level of English

                     Grade 2-4: based on your progress instead of results.

Icebreaker

Interview your neigbour: ask each other 10 questions in English and write down the answers.

Examples: Where were you born?  What is something you do well?  What is your favourite food? etc.

Then introduce your neigbour to the class, using the answers you have written down.

One Summer....

Write one paragraph ( 50-60 words)  about one summer in your life and send your paragraph to [e-mail]

Reading

1. Read the text and look up the meaning of the words you don't know.

2. Write down 2 questions about the text that your classmates should be able to answer after having read the article.Also write down the answers to your questions.

3. Discuss the questions in groups of four.

Listening/Watching

Answer the questions while you are watching the video.
