Speaking activity 1

What: 'Spot me'

How: We all know "ik zie, ik zie wat jij niet ziet", right?

Help: No help, that is the purpose of speaking off-the-cuff

Time: 10 minutes

Look online for: 'puzzel Jan van Haasteren'

Speaking activity 2

What: '60 seconds' (in 2 teams).

How: You have 60 seconds to describe as many words as possible. Each card reads one word. After your team guessed the English word correctly, you may draw a new card. You are not allowed to pass.

Acting out a word non-verbally = 1 point (Making any noise = 0 points)

Describing a word verbally = 2 points

Help: No help

Time: 60 seconds per person

Goal: To earn as many points as possible.

Evaluation

• Which game will help you to improve your accuracy in speaking? 
• Which game trains you best in off-the-cuff speaking?
• Which game will prepare you for your oral test the best?
