Ontkennend: didn't + hele werkwoord

He went to school. - He didn't go to school.

Present Perfect

Bevestigend: have/has + voltooid deelwoord (ww+ed / 3e rijtje)

I have walked to school since... -  He has had pizza recently.

Vragend: have/has vooraan

I have walked to school since... - Have I walked to school since...

Ontkennend: haven't / hasn't

I haven't walked to school since... - He hasn't had pizza recently.

past simple:

- voorbij

- je weet wanneer

- WALDY

present perfect:

When do we use the present perfect?

Summary

Past Simple is used when something happened in the past and has no effect on the present. 

ww+ ed of 2e rijtje

Present Perfect is used

When something started in the past and is still going on /still has an effect on the present.

To describe experiences

have/has + ww+ed/3e rijtje

Past Simple or Present Perfect:
Peter ____ (play) football yesterday

Past Simple or Present Perfect:
Last year we ____ (go) to Italy.

Past Simple or Present Perfect:
They ____ (wash) the car. It looks new again.
