adjectives -what is it like?

are words, that tell something about nouns. 

Examples: big, small, interesting, beautiful. 

In the Dutch language – like in English – we say the adjectives before the noun. 

For example: mooie bloem (beautiful flower), stoute jongen (naughty boy), grote auto (big car)

adverb -how?

 a word that modifies (describes):

- a verb (he sings loudly)

- an adjective (very tall)

- another adverb (ended too quickly), 

- even a whole sentence (Fortunately, I had brought an umbrella.)
