Dystopian Literature

Dystopian = a nightmarish idea of the future, a state in which there is much suffering.

Society  is oppressive ( harsh, cruel) and controlled, often characterized by dehumanization ( lacking positive human qualities), totalitarian governments  ( no individual freedom) , and environmental disaster.

The One Day War Overview

The One Day War is set in a future world where society is controlled by a totalitarian regime. It follows the journey of a protagonist who rebels against the oppressive system.
