Did you know?

Four different countries once had colonies in the Caribbean: England, France, Spain and the Netherlands.

These countries are part of the Caribbean:

1. Cuba, Curaçao, Venezuela
2. Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago
3. Aruba, Mexico, Barbados
4. Brazil, Trinidad and Colombia

What languages are not spoken on the island?

1. Dutch and French
2. Portuguese and Italian
3. Papiamento and Spanish
4. English and Haitian Creole

What instrument is the man playing?

The steel pan

To many people, it is the typical sound of the Caribbean - the sound of sun and sea, of palm trees and beautiful beaches. 

It is the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago.
