Rounding off the schoolyear!

• Tot aan de toetsweek gaat het er als volgt uitzien:
• Tijdens de MO's gaan we oefenen met lezen.
• De andere twee lessen behandelen we de belangrijkste onderdelen van hoofdstuk 5 -> Er komt geen hoofdstuktoets meer, wel een Kahoot/LessonUp om je voor te bereiden op volgend schooljaar. 
• Questions? 

Wat gaan we behandelen?

• Grammatica: Herhaling present simple, present continuous & past simple. Much/many en bezitsvorm.
• Worksheets over zinnen/woorden die te maken hebben met het dierenrijk.
• Revision chapters 1-4.
• Nogmaals: Lezen oefenen tijdens VTO uur. 

Reading

• C Reading pg. 66: Does your pet have superpowers?
  Ex. 17, 18, 19, 20 & 21.
• G Reading pg. 82: Life as a wildlife ranger.
  Ex. 44, 45, 46, 47 & 48.
• Reading Matters H5 pg. 102.
  Ex. 62, 63, 64.
• Werk je liever online? Ga naar: https://lingua.com/nl/engels/lezen/#exercises en kies niveau A1 - A2.

Grammar year 1

• Present simple = tegenwoordige tijd
• Present continuous = tegenwoordige tijd duurvorm (NU aan de gang).
• Past simple = verleden tijd. 
• Werkwoorden to be & to have. (zijn/hebben)
• In het worksheet staat uitleg + extra oefening. Om in 2 MAVO op niveau te zijn/blijven zijn dit de belangrijkste tijden om te kennen in het Engels.

• What did you do and why? Think of what you have learned today. (new word/sentence/reading strategy)
• No class on Monday, Tuesday we will finish with the final Oral Tests and practise reading.

Time to reflect!

• Write a reflection on English class this year.
• Je mag een brief aan mij schrijven, een artikel of wat je maar leuk vindt! Zolang het over de Engelse lessen gaat en in het Engels is, vind ik alles oké. Be creative!
• Wat heb ik geleerd? Hoe was de sfeer in de klas? Wat vond je leuk/minder leuk? Wat had je graag willen leren en is niet aan bod gekomen? Etc.
