Rule: adjective + ly Uitzonderingen: Fast, late, good & hard

Een bijwoord (adverb) gebruik je om iets te zeggen over een werkwoord. 

Hij rijdt langzaam   

He drives slowly

 

Zij liep snel naar huis

She walks home quickly

Jij schrijft mooi

You write beautifully

Het meisje lacht blij

She smiles happily

Je maakt een bijwoord vaak door -ly achter het bijvoeglijk naamwoord te plakken*
