Your bestie has a birthday coming up and you're invited to their party. You would like to buy a present but you don't know what to buy yet. Work in pairs A (birthday boy/girl) and B (friend). You're going to play both roles. Ask questions in order to find out what your friend would like to get. A can only answer with yes or no. Don't tell anyone the gift that you have chosen yet! 

By now, you probably have an idea of what you're going to buy your friend. Now ask open questions to get more information. You could start your questions with why, what, where, when, who and how.
