The past simple

How: 

add -ed to the end of the root form of the verb

If the verb ends in -y, we turn the -y into an -i and add -ed

cry --> cried

For regular verbs that end in a vowel+y, add –ed.

Possessive adjectives (on the left) modify a noun by telling who has ownership or possession of it, it goes before a noun to modify the noun. >> They come before a noun!

Possessive pronouns modify a noun or pronoun to make the sentence clearer and more specific but can also be left out.

When do we use
'whose'?

NOTE: 'Whose'

Use it when you're asking (or telling) 

to whom something belongs.

Examples: 

Look at this bag. Whose bag is this? 

Whose birthday is it today?

To ask who owns something or to who something belongs.

What is the difference between
who's and whose?

Who's vs. Whose

Who's = a contraction of 'who is' or 'who has'

Whose is used to ask who owns something, 

it is about possession.

That means the apostrophe in who's stands in for a letter that goes missing to make pronunciation easier and quicker.

Whose is a pronoun used in questions to ask who owns something or has something. In other words, whose is about possession.
