Present continuous

Je gebruikt de continuous als je wilt zeggen dat er NU iets aan de gang is.

Je maakt dat een zin met : AM / ARE / IS + ING-VORM

Bijv.: Right now, I am listening to music,

my dag is driving to work and

my friends are playing football in the park.

Signaalwoorden: Look / (Right) now / At the moment

Present simple

Je gebruikt de continuous als je wilt zeggen dat iets altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeurd.

Gewone zin (+) : Hele werkwoord (+s) 

-> Bijv.: I play football / She plays tennis

Ontkenning (-): don't/doesn't + hele werkwoord

-> Bijv.: I don't play tennis / She doesn't play football

Vraag (?) : Do ... hele werkwoord ... / Does ... hele werkwoord

-> Bijv.: Do you play tennis? / Does she play football?

Signaalwoorden: always / sometimes / often / every ... / never / usually
