2. Jassen uit. Library werkboek, schrift en pen op tafel. Niks anders!
3. Eten/drinken in tas. Kauwgom/pepermuntrollen uitgespuugd. 
4. Vragen/zeggen vinger omhoog en pas praten als ik je naam opnoem. Heb geduld!
5. Blijf op plaats zitten (houdt in niet ongevraagd door klas lopen)
6. Respect staat bovenaan. Wees stil als iemand aan het woord is. Dat houdt in ik of een van jouw klasgenoten!

Leerdoel

- At the end of this lesson you can change singular nouns to their plural forms in English.

- Aan het einde van deze les kan ik verschillende woorden in meervoud zetten in het Engels.

Do you still remember the five exceptions of plurals in English?

Meervouden: -s

Meestal als je een woord in meervoud wil zeggen, plak je een -s aan het einde van het woord.

Onthoud wel:

-Zelfstandig naamwoorden die op -o eindigen niet altijd in het meervoud -es krijgen.

-Bijvoorbeeld: 1 radio - 2 radios, 1 piano - 2 pianos

Uitzonderingen:

- Deze 7 moet je helaas gewoon uit je hoofd leren en staan op blz 189 in je boek!

Sommige woorden beschrijven iets wat uit eigenlijk uit twee dingen bestaat (vaak kledingstukken/accesoires) In het Engels gebruik je dan een 'a pair of' met een woord in het meervoud erachter.

Examples:

- trainingsschoen = a pair of sneakers

- een bril = a pair of glasses --> twee brillen = two pairs of glasses

- een broek = a pair of trousers --> twee broeken = two pairs of trousers

Meestal gewoon -s	Star -> Star s Jacket -> Jacket s Cat -> Cat s
eindigt op s-klank wordt -es	Dress - > Dress es Box - > Box es Watch - > Watch es
-f wordt -ves	Leaf -> Leave s Scarf -> Scarve s Wolf -> Wolve s
-y wordt -ies	Lady -> Lad ies Baby -> Bab ies Puppy -> Pupp ies
-o wordt -es	Hero - > Hero es Tomato -> Tomato es
Uitzonderingen:	Child -> Children Tooth -> Teeth Foot -> Feet
