Check your introduction. 

Can you find all these elements? 

Is any information missing?

Do you have a clear topic sentence at the start of your paragraph?

Are your points well-explained?

Are the examples relevant?

Is there a clear focus or is the paragraph all over the place?

Conclusion
Is your conclusion not just using the exact same words and sentences as used earlier in the review?

Have you given a clear recommendation?

Are you using linking words and other techniques to connect ideas throughout your work?

Is your language varied enough and of the appropriate register?

Formal Language
Is your language formal enough?

A review uses semi-formal language, so more informal expressions and references to yourself and your opinion are allowed. 

However, you should beware that the text does not get too informal.

Highlight or underline all the different signal/linking words you have used?

Is there enough variation or have you barely used them?
