Linking Words
Met linking words (voegwoorden) kun je de zinnen in een tekst met elkaar verbinden. Sommige voegwoorden laten een connectie tussen zinnen zien. Andere laten zien dat nieuwe informatie eerdere informatie tegenspreekt.
Linking words kunnen aan het begin van de zin, het midden of het einde van de zin worden geplaatst. Voorbeelden van linking words zijn in fact (in feite), for example (bijvoorbeeld), so (dus) en also (ook).
