past simple and present perfect

when do you use the past simple?

1. to talk about something that is happening now.
2. to talk about something has already happened
3. to talk about something that happened in the past with a result now
4. to talk about something that will happen in the future

finish the formula:
Subject + verb .... or .....

Finish the sentence:
