Use

Formula: if + sentence

To express possibilities that are (not) true under certain circumstances

For example: If A is true, then B.

We are looking at the following conditionals today:

-Zero conditional

- First conditional

- Second conditional

Zero conditional 

Used if something is always true!

Present Simple is used in BOTH parts of the sentence:

Example: If you pour oil on water (part 1), it floats (part 2).

First conditional

Used when something might happen in the future -> possible

Present tense after if, future tense in part 2 of the sentence

If I win the lottery (part 1), I will take you to Bali (part 2).

If I pass the exam (part 1), I'll go to medical school (part 2).

Present Simple	Will + bare infinitive
