- Relative pronouns in English are: who, which, that, whose, whom, where and when
- Each relative pronoun has a different function

- Who is used when you talk about people.
“It was Madison who was so nice to me.”
“He is somebody who always looks happy”

- Whose is used when you talk about people’s or things’ possessions
The youngest player, whose friends were all at the match, won.”
“I’m reading a novel whose theme is internet relationships.”

Whom usually comes after a preposition, like to, for, on or by.
