Slide 13 - Quizvraag

Now if you could go anywhere...
Picture this: your class has won a trip around the world, for you to plan.
BUT:
- you can travel to a maximum of eight different countries
- you have to visit a minimum of three continents
- you have to use a minimum of three different kinds of transportation.
- you can only travel in one direction: only east, or only west. You can travel from north to south and back without restriction.

Slide 14 - Tekstslide

Example
I want to travel from Paris, France to Budapest, Hungary to Sydney, Australia, to Thailand, Asia, to Peru, South America, to Reykjavik, Iceland.

Does this meet all the requirements?

Slide 15 - Tekstslide

Your task
In your group, first decide on the eight countries that you're going to visit
Secondly, decide how long you're going to spend in each country
Thirdly, decide what you're going to once you're there.
Finally, decide which part of your trip is the most interesting because that's what you're going to present to the rest of us.

You have today and all of tomorrow's lesson to work on it. In the second lesson of next week, each group will present their trip.

Slide 16 - Tekstslide

Possible forms of your presentation.
The easiest and quickest: a PowerPoint or Prezi which you present in front of the class.

All other creative forms (vlogs, websites, all the socials) are allowed, as long as all of you are ready to tell us about it.

We will vote for the trip we like most.

Slide 17 - Tekstslide

Speak English!
I'll put you in groups.
Speak English at all times. Not speaking English makes the whole exercise rather pointless, in which case you might learn almost as much from going downstairs and mopping the floors or cleaning the toilets.

Homework for tomorrow: nothing at all, unless you want to work on your trip
